Chicks

2 weeks ago I order chicks. Specifically a lot of 10 female mixed Wyandottes. From the listing: “This assortment may include: Silver Laced, Gold Laced, Blue Laced Red, Columbian and Blue Laced Gold” As the chicks were 3 days old when we got them we could not tell which varieties we had. But now their adult feathers are coming in and we can start to see what we have. There are definitely a couple of Gold Laced, and either Blue Laced Red or Gold, the colors aren’t quiet in enough to tell. But they are getting big fast and we are excited to keep watching them grow and develop their adult color patterns and personalities.
