Today we are celebrating our second child, and only son’s10th birthday. He is smart, creative, strong, and stubborn. He is the best big brother to his younger sisters, and fulfills the pestering younger brother role perfectly. We are proud of young man he is growing into and we are excited to continue to watch him grow.

Homemade cranberry sauce, lightly spiced and ready to be added to your holiday table. The sauce is made with fresh cranberries, fresh squeezed orange juice, orange zest, fresh grated ginger and cinnamon. Cooking the sauce made my house smell like Christmas.

2 weeks ago I order chicks. Specifically a lot of 10 female mixed Wyandottes. From the listing: “This assortment may include: Silver Laced, Gold Laced, Blue Laced Red, Columbian and Blue Laced Gold” As the chicks were 3 days old when we got them we could not tell which varieties we had.
